Can I tell you ...about our fave girl Jessica Alba? While I was away on holidays, my PR diva Jackie sent me this photo of her wearing our new "Milla" foldover bag (She's got the black, but the other colors are pretty yummy, too). You can't imagine how thrilled I was when I got it. What a great way to end the year, I thought: me, sipping champagne at the Met Bar in Bangkok looking at Jessica Alba, wearing my bag. Doesn't it look great on her? This is the kind of stuff that just totally makes my day as a designer. It's the ultimate compliment when a girl like her, who has access to every designer on earth, chooses to wear my designs over the usual major brands. It says as much about her individuality and self-confidence as much as it says about my designs. Plus, it's one of my favorite bags this seasons, so it's a win-win situation, if I may say so myself. Muchas Gracias Senorita Alba!

just saw this bag at Bloomies. hmmm....now you got me thinking. she does look good it in it. of course everything looks good on her. can't have it all but at least I can have that bag.

Does everyone see that big smile of satisfaction on Jessica's face? She is lovin' her Rafe bag! Congratulations Rafe! Your designs are delicious. I keep my Crosby Waxed Leather Angela bag very close by. And it's not just easy on the eyes...the shoulder chain plays a sweet song for my ears. Did I mention the feel? What a multisensory experience! The matching wallet arrived today ... you are awesome!
