Can I tell you...about my night out with Ann Caruso. I've known Ann for eons, ever since she started as a fashion assistant at Vogue and worked her way up to being a fabulous stylist that she is now. She regularly works with Harpers Bazaar styling their celebrity pages. Last Sept.5, as fashion week got started, we decided to attend some parties together. Two heads are better than one after all. She wore my anthracite snakeskin Joy clutch with a sequined tank and navy trousers. So chic! We started with Nina Garcia's "Little Black Book of Style" launch over at Socialista, hosted by Blackberry, Elle and Diane Von Furstenberg. The place was packed like sardines with designers, editors and socialites. Bumped into Monique L'huillier and her husband Tom on their way out. Yigal Azrouel was celebrating because he had just shown and was relieved it was over.
Angel Sanchez had pre-show jitters and needed a drink desperately.
Miguelina was having a blast because she didn't need to worry about the shows ( she doesn't, smart girl!).
There were other parties to go to and we wanted to get to them. We headed uptown to the Moma, where Tommy Hilfiger and George Lois was throwing a huge shindig for the launch of their book Iconic America. Debbie Harry, a music icon herself sang live. Bumped into Susan Shin and Olivia Palermo, as well as Jeff Halmos and his girfriend Christina making the rounds. Debbie sang "Call me" blues style which was great and a fresh take on her famous hit.
We had the Calvin Klein party to hit but we skipped. We were starving, buzzed and exhausted. I'm sure I missed a fabulous event but there's always another party and another night. This is New York City after all and the party never ends.

Fab-u-lous! The Joy clutch is very pretty. I like that you skipped out on Calvin Klein to eat - good priorities!!
It really look`s like you had a great time!
I read that the Calvin Party was full of cute boys in their tighty whities, too bad you missed that one. :-)
Thank you for your comment! I greatly enjoy your site and the beautiful picture layouts.
Jeff Halmos is straight? Jeezz where are we going?...
