Spring Teaser

Can I tell you about...last week's sudden change of weather? We had a brief teaser for Spring for a week but as of last Friday( before Mother Nature forgot it was still Winter), I've had reports of a buying frenzy for my Spring shoes and bags from our retailers. We're getting tons of re-orders ( a very good thing in our industry, especially if you have stock on hand). There's something about a sudden change in temperature that makes you want to buy something immediately. I'm headed to J. Crew down the street to get some seersucker shorts ( I know it's early). Even if it's chilly, you don't want to buy anything Fall-ish and even if you wanted to, the stores have long since liquidated whatever Fall / Winter stock they had. Barneys already had their Warehouse sale and I couldn't even be bothered to go. My size is always sold out anyway and whatever I may have wanted never makes it to 'that' sale. Everywhere you look...you're being bombarded by Spring fashion from the windows to the magazines.
